Introduction
At DoctorBano.com (operated by Essqube Enterprises LLP) we strive to deliver high-quality counselling and support for MBBS/medical education abroad. In rare cases where services do not meet expectations, we may, after assessing your case, offer a refund or provide an alternative service of comparable value. This policy explains eligibility, timelines, and exclusions. For queries, write to info@doctorbano.com.

Payment Terms
Service Fees
We offer services such as profile evaluation, university shortlisting, application/documentation assistance, visa guidance, test preparation (online/offline), and pre-departure support. Fees vary by package and scope.
Payment Methods
Payments may be made via credit/debit cards, net banking, UPI, or authorised payment gateways listed on our platform.
Payment Confirmation
After successful payment, you will receive an email confirmation containing the transaction details. Keep this for reference.
Currency
Transactions are processed in the currency displayed on our platform at the time of payment.
Refund Rules
How to Request a Refund
Email info@doctorbano.com with your name, contact number, invoice/transaction ID, service purchased, and a brief description of the issue. We will review eligibility and respond with next steps.
Refund Timeline & Mode
Once approved, refunds are typically initiated within 7–10 business days. Bank/wallet posting times may vary by provider. Refunds are credited to the original payment method wherever feasible; otherwise, we may process via bank transfer.
Non-Refundable Items (Third-Party & Pass-Through Costs)
Fees paid to universities/colleges, application platforms, credential evaluators, visa centers/embassies, insurance providers, test agencies, attestation/legalisation bodies, translation/notary services, courier charges, and any government or statutory fees are non-refundable. These are outside DoctorBano’s control.
Study Abroad Application Packages
You may be eligible for a refund (full or partial, as determined case-by-case) in the following limited scenarios:
- Access/Onboarding Failure: If you have paid in full for a counselling package and do not receive account access or onboarding within 8 days of purchase despite using correct credentials and cooperating with our support team, you may request a refund.
- Overcharge: If you were charged more than the listed price on DoctorBano.com at the time of purchase, the excess amount is refundable.
- Service Non-Delivery: If scheduled one-to-one sessions are cancelled four (4) or more times consecutively by our mentor without prior notice via official channels (email/WhatsApp/SMS), you may request pro-rated relief.
Test Preparation (Online/Offline)
Test-prep fees (e.g., IELTS) are generally non-refundable once access/enrolment is provided. Seats are limited and allocated by batch.
In exceptional health-related cases, you may request consideration by submitting medical documents (reports/prescriptions/bills). If requested, documents must be provided within 7 working days. Approval is at DoctorBano’s sole discretion.
No Refund In These Cases (Test-Prep)
- Second-instalment unpaid within 7 days of enrolment for Live Classes—first instalment is forfeited and access revoked.
- Self-study programs (where materials/test series are provided in one go) after access is granted.
- Where a substantial portion (≥ 25%) of the course has already been conducted.
Visa-Related Charges
We facilitate documentation support; payments and processing are performed by third-party service providers and authorities.
- After visa forms are submitted, fees are not refundable.
- If you withdraw after documentation has begun, fees are not refundable.
- Client-requested cancellation within 24 hours of visa filing may, where no third-party charges have been incurred, be eligible for a partial refund (processing/administration fees may apply).
- Delays caused by embassies/centres/third parties do not entitle you to refunds from DoctorBano.
- Visa refusal does not qualify for a refund from DoctorBano; visa outcomes are beyond our control.
Finance & Loans
Finance/loan products are offered by partner institutions subject to their independent policies. Refunds/cancellations are governed solely by the respective lender’s terms.
Accommodation
Accommodation listings/referrals are provided via third parties. Payments, cancellations, and refunds are governed by the accommodation provider’s policy. DoctorBano does not decide or process such refunds.
Documentation & Cooperation
Eligibility for any refund requires (a) accurate information/documents from you, and (b) reasonable cooperation with our team. Failure to provide either may lead to service suspension without refund.
Chargebacks & Disputes
If you initiate a chargeback, we may suspend services pending resolution. Where a chargeback is resolved in our favour, you remain liable for the original amount and any dispute/processing fees.
Governing Law
This Refund Policy is governed by the laws of India. Courts at New Delhi, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
